Season 8 American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert supposedly lost his temper with a paparazzi on Friday at Miami Beach where he allegedly wrestled the photographer to the ground while trying to get hold of a camera. Using his Twitter account, the 28 year old singer-songwriter from San Diego denies the allegations.
A police report filed by the photographer revealed that the AI rival of Kris Allen tried to get the backpack and camera of the photographer during a tussle at the beach. However, Lambert clearly claims that he did not really inflict physical harm to Victor Eras, the photographer. Lambert expressed his sentiments over the matter, tweeting, “Battery? Nope. I attempted to grab a camera, no punches were thrown and no one was on the ground…It was literally harmless. If embarrassment is a crime — that’s all I’m guilty of.”
As of presstime, Miami officials are still pondering about pressing charges against Lambert.
