dPollution International (RMGX) recently announced positive test results for it’s fuel efficiency technology conducted by the Italian army, as part of trials for possible sales to European armed forces. The company is moving ahead to conduct further testing with NATO battlefield vehicles, hoping to make good on their claim of major mileage improvements.

The company’s flagship product improves engine performance by causing fuel to burn more efficiently in the combustion chamber. The technology works on all closed-combustion gas and diesel engines.

It was another sad day in Japan as the Tokyo Electric Power Company has acknowledged that the company has reportedly suffered from 1.25tn yen roughly equivalent to $15B for the past year. Apart from that, the president of Tepco, Mastaka Shimizu, the one responsible for operating the Fukushima nuclear power plant also resigned from his post.

In a press conference in Tokyo, Shimizu acknowledged, “I wanted to take managerial responsibility and bring a symbolic close. We put the highest importance on experience and expertise in our business operations when we chose the person for the top post.”  Speaking to the public, he further remarked, “We want to sincerely apologize for our nuclear reactors in Fukushima causing so much anxiety, worry and trouble to society.”

The resignation of Shimizu was expected as he was harshly criticized for not making a public appearance in the event of the problems in the nuclear reactors. Reports show that he was later hospitalized because of episodes of dizziness.

Now, Tepco will be controlled by managing director Toshio Nishizawa.

The 17 year old Canadian teen sensation, Justin Bieber proved just how he was really sincere about helping Japan, especially after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear reactor problems the Japanese have suffered.

During Bieber’s visit, he was led into a room with children, boys and girls who came from the hardest-hit areas in the northeastern part of Japan. Candid as he is, he managed to somehow talk to the children through an interpreter while media people watched and clicked their cameras.

For his part, Bieber told the children, “Things can get better and things will get better. There can only be good times to come from this and my prayers go out to all of your families.”

US Ambassador to Japan, John Roos also commented to the media, “Events like Justin Bieber’s visit to Japan not only lift the spirits of young people in Japan but are an important contribution to the message to the world that Japan is safe to visit and open for business.”

It is firmly hoped that this action of Justin Bieber will send a definite message to other people.

A recent study conducted shows that teenagers who chose to delay having sex or who professed teen abstinence may still take on risky sexual behaviors when they grow as adults. Accordingly, the proponents of the study also discovered that other factors that included the environment and genetics were the stronger contributing reasons as to sexual risk taking. It was not about  being sexually promiscuous when one is younger.

In a news release, the researchers of the study acknowledged that it does not matter whether you delay sex or not in terms of having risky behavior in the future. They have also identified drug and alcohol use during sex, unprotected sexual intercourse and having multiple partners as examples of sexual risk-taking.

The findings, to be published via Psychological Science studied 1,000 pairs of fraternal and identical twins registered in the Minnesota Twin Family Study since they were eleven years old. The respondents were queried about numerous varying factors related to age at puberty and friendships. At age 24, they were asked about their sex lives and any risky behavior they were involved in.

In essence, the concept of teen abstinence may need to be re-evaluated.

The 32 year old American singer, dancer and songwriter best known for her stint as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger has acknowledged that she indeed had reservations about co-hosting the new US version of the talent competition, X Factor.

In an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat, Scherzinger expressed her hesitation about accepting the new project because of the possibility that it would affect her music career. She admitted, “I was really excited but I had my own reservations just because I came out with my album Killer Love and my music is number one to me. I just want to get it out there so I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t get in the way of promoting the music.”

A recent study conducted suggests that the outcomes of a first Prostate Specific Antigen or PSA test for men from 44 to 50 years old can actually estimate and predict the risk of dying from prostate cancer within the succeeding 25-30 years.

An earthquake that tipped the scales at a magnitude of 5.9 has caused the lives of two people in Turkey particularly in Kutahya province. Accordingly, the quake struck a few moments before midnight local time. Its epicenter was reportedly focused on the town of Simav in Kutahya.

In a statement released by the 62 year old economist and politician most notable for the name, DSK, he confirmed that he had already told the board of his intention to resign “with immediate effect”. Again, he denied having anything to do with the allegations hurled at him.

The statement of the IMF Chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn read as follows, “It is with infinite sadness that I feel compelled today to present to the Executive Board my resignation from my post of Managing Director of the IMF. I think at this time first of my wife – whom I love more than anything – of my children, of my family, of my friends. I think also of my colleagues at the Fund; together we have accomplished such great things over the last three years and more. To all, I want to say that I deny with the greatest possible firmness all of the allegations that have been made against me. I want to protect this institution which I have served with honor and devotion, and especially – especially – I want to devote all my strength, all my time, and all my energy to proving my innocence.”
