Computer industry pioneer IBM has launched a new customer relationship software application for businesses to connect with their clients online using handsets and other mobile devices.
Through a press release, the company said that the IBM Customer Experience Suite has social networking features, analytics, and e-commerce applications to aid companies in creating dynamic websites and programs to widen their client bases and improve brand loyalty.
“Collaboration and social software have the power to transform an organization’s web presence, reinventing how they relate to their customers on the web,” said Alistair Rennie, general manager of IBM Collaboration Software.
“We are aligning the breadth of IBM capabilities to help our customers embrace the web as their primary channel for customer engagement,” Rennie added.
The new customer relationship program is being introduced to many of IBM’s new and existing customers. One example is airline Lufthansa which has been utilizing the new software to improve its online services for prospective passengers and reduce operating costs.
