WPZuneHub Microsoft to Offer New Features to Boost Sales of Windows Phone 7 DevicesThough Microsoft figures show the sale of their smartphone to be around the 1.5 million mark, the product is considered to have underachieved. The phone rarely make the talking points of magazines and Microsoft itself has not said much about the device which is uncharacteristic of the company which enjoys a good boast about one of its products.

In an effort to boost sales and save the flagging device, Microsoft are planning to introduce new features to the Windows Phone 7 including giving the user the ability to tweak its apps and provide cut and paste applications.

This may of course be jumping the gun as many companies have seen a slow start for a new product only to see it gain momentum over the coming years.

The smartphone competition is currently intense and is only likely to become more intense as time goes on. Microsoft’s modifications to Windows Phone 7 could be a pre-emptive strike against the competition.
