LeBron James1 300x200 MJ’s point of view of LeBron JamesAfter the finalization of the deal involving Lebron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh last July 9, skeptics and critics have already thrown a lot of reprehensive remarks to the 2-time NBA MVP LeBron James.

But none of these critics are more appropriate to make commentaries than the man considered as the best player to ever graze on the game of NBA basketball, Michael Jordan.

Michael Jordan said after playing in a celebrity golf tourney in Nevada, “There’s no way, with hindsight, I would’ve ever called up Larry [Bird], called up Magic [Johnson] and said, ‘Hey, look, let’s get together and play on one team’.  But that’s … things are different. I can’t say that’s a bad thing. It’s an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys.”

Michael Jordan could be considered the best of the best as he led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA titles. He also led the Bulls to the best record ever in a regular season with a win-loss record of 72-10.

In addition to his prominence as being the best of the best, he has won the 1988 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award; record-high 6 NBA Finals MVP awards, 5 NBA Regular Season MVP awards and 3 NBA All-Star Game MVP awards. Another reason that regards him as the best is his ability to make shots when the game is on the line and the ability to lead a less star-studded team.

LeBron James on the other hand, is still far from the accomplishments of Jordan. But he is already showing signs of greatness as he has already won two MVP titles, and All-Star Game MVP awards. Yet, he is still to win a title and after the disappointing loss to the Boston Celtics last season, James then decided to bring his talents to the Miami Heat with his draft classmates Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. Many skeptics have then considered James as a “not-so-great player” since he seek for more talented teammates.

However, this critique also renders a good side for LeBron James as he tries to quit on the ideal of a “Team of Me”. He is then to prove this coming NBA Regular Season that he is indeed quitting on the said ideal and instead promote the ideal of the “Team of We”.

The 65th NBA Regular Season is set to commence on October 26, 2010.

Yea I see where Jordan is coming from. But I think Jordan is caught up in everyone elses complex: comparing avery up and coming start to “Jordan”. There will never be another Jordan, PERIOD!

But how many championship rings does Jordan have: 6. Larry Bird: 3, & Magic Johnson: 5.

How many championship rings does James have: 0, Chris Bosh: 0, Dwayne Wade: 1. I know it is probably mid-career for these players as well (in their prime) which that comes into argument.

And also I would like to know who got what rings first and when they got the rings : Bird, Jordan, & Johnson. Would be good to know. He did say things were different now, and he can’t say it’s a bad thing.
