Everyone knows the phrase: “We are what we eat.” Many things depend on our diet including health, shape, and our libido.
German scientists from the city of Karsluhe in a study have tried to find out what foods enhance the sexual desire in the fair sex. The experiment showed that the winner of this role is the salty foods.
According to the report, the researchers concluded that the women, who are fond of canned vegetables and mushrooms, and consumed daily 30 grams of salt, had sex with a frequency of 2-5 times a week. Those who refrained from salty foods, have sex 2-5 times a month.
As a result, experts have concluded that the reason for this is sodium chloride, which stimulates the production of testosterone – the hormone responsible for libido. That’s why women who love salty food have increased sexual desire.
The survey, which was attended by 790 women aged 25-35 years, showed that salty foods have a positive effect on sexual desire of the fair sex.
