The 32 year old American singer, dancer and songwriter best known for her stint as the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger has acknowledged that she indeed had reservations about co-hosting the new US version of the talent competition, X Factor.
In an interview with BBC Radio 1’s Newsbeat, Scherzinger expressed her hesitation about accepting the new project because of the possibility that it would affect her music career. She admitted, “I was really excited but I had my own reservations just because I came out with my album Killer Love and my music is number one to me. I just want to get it out there so I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t get in the way of promoting the music.”
On one end, the singer also expressed her admiration for Simon Cowell in which she relayed, “Simon’s just been really supportive of it. Honestly I had such a great time on the show. It’s such a phenomenon. I love Simon, so it was an honor that they asked me to be a part of the US version.”
Apart from Nicole Scherzinger, fans and supporters will also be delighted to note that she will be accompanied by TV presented, Steve Jones.
